Because I love Matt Soooo Much...

Matt at Cerulean Blue has tagged me for a meme that I just did. But due to my great love for Matt and since there's such a wealth of quirkiness in my personality (and because I have nothing else to talk about) here's
5 MORE weird things about me!
  1. When people cut me off on the road while driving, I like to imagine that I have super mental powers or magical abilities and that I can just lift their car up with my mind and put them on the side of the road where they will be inexplicably stalled out for an hour or that I can magically transport them to some grubby little street in Bangkok. It’s my version of creative road rage.
  2. I’m trying to train my cats to give me back massages. They’ll do tummy massages but for some reason if they can’t look you in the eye Shi-cat-su as I call it is out of the question.
  3. Automatic - Chevette. Standard - Prelude. Automatic - Carolla. Standard - Tercel. Automatic. – RAV4. That's the pattern of the types of transmissions I’ve had in my cars since I started driving. It’s getting to close to the time to get a new car. I want to get an Automatic but I secretly feel compelled to continue the pattern of alternating between Automatics and stick shifts. It’s causing me no end of angst.
  4. Besides imagining how I could die on a daily basis I also imagine winning the lottery. I go through how I would spend the money, who I’d share it with, etc. This has become more complicated since I got married. Because even though the odds of me ever winning are practically zero, I still feel like I have to compromise with my husband on how to spend my imaginary money.
  5. I think french fries are the world’s most perfect food. Especially my french fries. And I can’t eat french fries without thinking of my Uncle Dean, who was the first person to make me homemade french fries. That could be why he's my favorite uncle.

Nice list. Mmmm....homeade french fries. :-)

Do you blanch the potatoes in water? I picked that up at a restaurant I worked at one, and it makes them crispier. :-) But yeah, popcorn salt is great on fries. Not the kind with "flavourings." Just super thin, white salt. Really yummy, but then I adore salt.

I can't believe I did that. I even remember the other list, because you mentioned singing certain conversations, which cracked me up. So, I think I deserve some sort of punishment. You should tag me with something, or ask me a question that I have to answer truthfully. Anything.

Subaru Legacy Wagon - Stick
Plymouth Acclaim - Auto
Honda Accord - Stick
Land Rover Range Rover - Auto
Honda Odyssey - Auto

I really don't like automatics, but the last two only come that way. Once we have enough funds to have a second car, it will be a stick.

CBT- I'm considering a Volvo. Particularly since we are trying to have kids. I pretty much want surround my kid with the safest vehicle I can find.

Sheryl- I do blanch them but not all the time. Sometimes I just start fiending for them and I take a shortcut. but I'm going to definitely get me some popcorn salt for the next batch.

Matt- check your latest post comments. I've given you an assignment as punishment.

WunEyed- I love stick shifts too. I especially love feeling like a race car driver. The only downside is So Cal stop-n-go traffic. That and if I have a kid I'm gonna need the free hand I think.

My deepest shame is that I never learned to drive a standard transmission. *sigh*
Maybe in SD last weekend of January. Where are we meeting for drinks and wedding photos?

Christine-
Damn it, woman! I'm going to be in Las Vegas for my birthday that weekend. I'm seriously bummed cause we DEFINITELY would have been meeting up for drinks and wedding pics. We need to coordinate our schedules.

Matt-
Cool! I can't wait.

Imagining winning the lottery is weird? I always get caught up in how much to give away, then start to worry that I've given too much and not left enough to really play with, then feel guilty because I'm being greedy, then give it all to charity.
Oh, and then I want it back.

But yeah, you should definately stick with the stick/automatic switching. It's a tradition by now.

Im-Com-Pusive: That's EXACTLY what I do when I win the lottery in my imagination!! Now THAT'S Weird!
